MSOE’s Center for Professional Education offers a variety of courses and programs for professional upskilling; earning industry-recognized credentials; gaining technical knowledge in rapidly changing fields; and satisfying professional licensure requirements through:

  • Workshops and SeminarsTopic-specific public workshops and seminars in the areas of business, leadership, technology and engineering help learners expand subject matter knowledge, develop new skills, and prepare for changes in technologies. Programs are typically held in-person.
  • Conferences and Special Events
    Conferences and other types of meetings, in collaboration with internal and external partners and sponsors, bring attendees together to learn about and discuss issues, ideas and work that focus on a topic of mutual interest or concern.
  • Customized Training SolutionsCustomized training addresses your organization’s specific business needs and goals. CPE staff work with onsite staff in analyzing needs and developing, implementing and evaluating customized programs to address defined skills gaps and development needs of individual employees and teams leading to enhanced performance and business success. Programs can be delivered at the worksite or other location.
  • Webinars and Online Programs
    Convenient and effective online programs expand access to professional education, information, and faculty expertise for busy professionals who are seeking to expand knowledge, enhance skills, advance careers, and address business challenges.
  • Fluid Power Seminars
    Seminars offered through MSOE’s Applied Technology Center are designed to keep engineers and managers abreast of cutting-edge technological development, current applications and newly developed techniques in fluid power, motion control and hydraulics. The seminars focus on the foundation of fluid power and explore more advanced sophisticated concepts in a high-tech, applications-oriented environment.
